Alison Luedecke, celeste/organ

Alison Luedecke, organ and harpsichord, is a native of Galveston, Texas. She is active across the US as a solo concert organist and has played in France, Canada, Mexico and Germany.  She is passionate about sharing her love of music with her students, audience members and anyone who will listen! She teaches organ, harpsichord and piano and strives to fully expand a student’s technique and musicality. As an orchestral musician she performs with the Mainly Festival Orchestra, the San Diego Symphony, and has performed with St. Louis Symphony Brass, Symphony Silicon Valley, Orchestra Nova and others. She is a founding member and harpsichordist with the San Diego Baroque Soloists featuring San Diego musicians Pierre Joubert and Alex Greenbaum in a collaborative ensemble. She is also a founding member and organist with Millennia Consort (brass quintet, percussion and organ),  California’s premiere “Organ Plus” ensemble. As a recording artist Dr. Luedecke is featured on numerous CDs and has been heard many times on the nationally syndicated radio show Pipedreams. She received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance at the Eastman School of Music as a student of David Craighead. She is Organist at St. James by the Sea Episcopal Church La Jolla, CA,  and assists at Our Lady of Grace, El Cajon. In her free time she enjoys cooking wonderful delights, spending quality time with family and friends, and exercising.
