COVID-19 Update from
Mainly Mozart: A Message
from CEO Nancy Laturno

I write with the difficult task of sharing with you that Mainly Mozart will be postponing all April, May, and June concerts and events. We plan to be back in production the last week of August, with programming planned into early December. This will include Michael Francis and the Festival Orchestra, Spotlight Chamber Music, Mozart & the Mind, and Club Amadeus as well as a series of intimate private-home events. We will be issuing regular updates (with specific venues, dates and programming as we have them) over the coming weeks.
We take our responsibility to our patrons, artists, staff, and community seriously and are committed more than ever to nurturing and sharing the healing power of music in all of our lives. As we face the global challenge of COVID-19, I hope you are safe and healthy. You are the reason Mainly Mozart exists.
Despite the current uncertainty, Mainly Mozart is nimble, innovative, and strategic enough to weather what is ahead – determined to come out the other side of this stronger than we’ve ever been. This, only with your support.
Right now, our extraordinary Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra instructors are working round the clock giving online classes and one-on-one instruction that we expect will continue into the summer. Music Director Michael Francis is healthy and quarantined with his family in Florida; he sends his affection and best wishes and plans to be with us in late August. Our artists are sad not to be with us in June, but look forward to being back for the exciting programs planned for the Fall.
With gratitude to each and every one of you, and wishes for the health and safety of you and your families.
Nancy Laturno, CEO
