Nancy Laturno
Chief Executive Officer & Artistic Director
Nancy Laturno co-founded Mainly Mozart in 1988. Under Laturno’s leadership, Mainly Mozart has grown from a two week festival into a year-round producer of world-class orchestral and chamber music concerts, youth orchestra, outreach for students and adults, and innovative programs such as Mozart & the Mind. She is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s strategic, artistic and operational planning and implementation.
Michael Francis
Mainly Mozart Music Director
Mainly Mozart’s dynamic Music Director Michael Francis has quickly established himself as a conductor of international reputation, forging collaborations with the world’s leading orchestras. Just months after his appointment as Music Director of the Mainly Mozart Festival in late 2014, his appointment as Music Director of The Florida Orchestra was announced. In 2019, he began his tenure as Chief Conductor of the German Orchestra, Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz.
Hernan Constantino
Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra Music Director
Actively involved in the San Diego classical music scene since 1990, Hernan Constantino is Music Director/Conductor of Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra’s Intermediate and Advanced Orchestras. Mr. Constantino enjoys a three-pronged career: that of violinist, conductor, and educator.
